Adelaide Wharf helped regenerate a disused industrial site and created a community of new residents that is helping to drive the prosperity of Shoreditch. Designed by architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Adelaide Wharf includes 147 apartments of which 23 are offered as affordable low-cost homeownership and workspace for local businesses. The scheme was 100% sold before completion.
The development has won numerous awards, including the National RIBA Award and the Government’s prestigious Housing Design Award. It has also been featured as an exemplar scheme at the World Architecture Festival, the international property show MIPIM and at the RIBA.
